The objective?

Firstly, we talked about what the sound system needed to achieve for Sin Seven. In this case Sin Seven was looking for a system that is capable of producing a high-quality, immersive sound experience for their customers.

“The system needs to be -easy to use- and controlled with minimal effort with a tablet.” On the other hand, professional connections (XLR) are a must, since once in a while, professional DJ’s play tunes at Sin Seven and also podcast shall be recorded.

Once we had established all the goals, we began to explore different options for designing and integrating the sound system. We gathered accurate information and understanding to the unique needs, and a tailor made solution was provided.

We did an inspection of the location from Sin Seven to understand the layout of the space and determine the optimal speaker placement and setup. We did discuss the types of speakers that are best suited to their needs and room.

After an impressive listening demonstration we did identify the best option for their space, while taking into account factors like budget, the size of the room, and the specific type of sound or ambiance Sin Seven was looking for.

At this point we had created a detailed plan for integrating the audio equipment. The plan included information on how the equipment needed to be installed, how it was wired, and how it will be tested.

Once the audio equipment was installed and tested, we did show how to use it. This helped to ensure that the equipment shall be used correctly and that there were no issues.

Four black Devialet Phantom II loudspeakers are installed in a room as large as 100 square meter and provide an ultra clean soundstage at Sin Seven.

Since we installed a wired DANTE network with an AVIO adapter, Sin Seven is able to move their source, we used a Pioneer DJ Mixer, anywhere in their bar.

This makes it also possible to connect -at a later stage- more loudspeakers to the same source without extra equipment. They just need to connect to an UTP cable connected to the specific PoE switch and voila, the whole DJ stage can be moved anywhere in the room since all loudspeakers are active, meaning: the amplifiers are integrated in the loudspeakers itself. The complete system is digitally wired.

This means an ultra stable connection, no latency, lag or loss of audio quality and maintaining the flexibility to move the DJ stage with very little effort and the possibility to connect more speakers with a maximum of 256 loudspeakers in total.
