Bathys comes from the word ‘bathyscaphe’, the first submarine exploration vehicle. The embodiment of calm, depth and absolute silence, this vessel is the inspiration behind the name of these Active Noice Cancelling headphones.

Design & Performance.

  • The Courbet loudspeakers delivers a very linear performance and the loudspeaker completely gives way to the music. You will be seduced by the subtlety of the sound message. This neutrality makes it possible to hear all the details of the recording without any auditory fatigue.

  • Courbet can be paired with any type of electronics. It is this choice that determines the character that you want to give to your setup. Easy to drive and a lot of high grade laquer choices makes Courbet a very clever choice you can enjoy for many years.

  • High purity stranded wire is strongly recommended for the amplifier and speaker connection. The loudspeakers should be placed symmetrically with respect to the listening area. A minimum distance of 30 cm from the walls (rear and side) is recommended. Finally, a set of 4 decoupling pins is included for each column. You can use them to decouple the speaker from the floor and get tighter bass.
