HIFILORD × Prêt À Port — Port Sounds 01.

Where Sound Meets Style — A Night the Senses Won't Forget

Fashion, music, art and gastronomy converged in one extraordinary evening at the HIFILORD showroom in Antwerp, proving that exceptional audio is never just about the speakers. There are evenings that unfold like a perfectly mastered record — every element placed with intention, every transition effortless, the whole greater than the sum of its parts. The exclusive HIFILORD × Prêt À Port event was one of those rare nights.

Hosted in HIFILORD's immaculate luxury showroom in Antwerp, the evening brought together an intimate circle of guests for an experience that moved fluidly across fashion, music, art, food and conversation. Conceived in collaboration with Magalie, the creative force behind Prêt À Port — a rising Antwerp movement that lives at the intersection of fashion, community and sound — the event was equal parts cultural statement and sensory journey.

We believe unconditionally that audio, music and fashion are all sensory experiences that belong together. Sound is never just sound — it is context, atmosphere, identity.

The evening

Guests arrived to a showroom transformed. The warm glow of an art-forward setting welcomed them, where works by Brussels artist Pablo Cavalier graced the walls — sculpture and canvas adding a visual dimension to what would soon become an entirely immersive sensory event. Canapes and carefully composed dishes by the acclaimed Club____09.92 circulated through the room, their culinary craft a quiet complement to the evening's elevated register.

The meet-and-greet unfolded at the pace of good conversation: unhurried, curious, charged with the particular electricity of people who share a taste for the exceptional. Fashion met sound culture; collectors met creators. HIFILORD's listening lounge showroom — itself one of the most beautifully appointed audio spaces in Belgium — became a salon in the truest sense.

“The collaboration with Prêt À Port was a natural one. For HIFILORD, accepting Magalie's invitation was not a commercial decision but a philosophical one: as a high-end audio experience center, HIFILORD has always held that music is a sensory art form that deserves to be heard in the right context, surrounded by people, in the right space. This evening was precisely that.” states Tim Van Vynckt from HIFILORD.

A curated listening session is one of the rarest things in contemporary music culture — pure attention, no distractions, sound as the sole focus.

Then came the moment of silence before the music.

Ritchie Santos — the celebrated DJ and sound architect known as the sonic collaborator behind Damso — took his place as the evening's sound curator. For one hour, the room belonged entirely to him and to the music. Guests settled into HIFILORD's listening environment and gave themselves over to an immersive closed listening session: a format that strips away every distraction and lets sound do what it was always meant to do.

Santos's curation was precise, emotional and cinematic — a journey through textures and moods delivered through one of the most extraordinary audio systems assembled in Belgium. Every detail of the music was rendered with the kind of clarity, warmth and physical presence that only a truly high-end system can produce.

The pairing of the Focal Sopra N2 with the Devialet Astra is not a casual choice — it is a statement. Two of France's most revered audio engineering houses, united in a system that renders music with breathtaking realism. For guests hearing it for the first time, the experience was revelatory. For those who already knew the names, it was confirmation of everything they believed. HIFILORD is the official Devialet partner in Belgium — and the only place in the country where the full Devialet ecosystem can be experienced in this way.

Events like this are not coincidences. They are the result of a shared conviction — that the highest forms of human creative expression, music, fashion, art, food, deserve to inhabit the same room.

The photographs by Tardy Marc captured what words can only approximate: the intimacy of the space, the focus of the audience during the listening session, the warmth between guests. A curated selection will be published at hifilord.com, adding a visual record to an evening already circulating on social media — co-authored posts by Pret A Port and HIFILORD on Instagram attracted attention, a testament to the resonance this collision of worlds generated.

Events like this are not coincidences. They are the result of a shared conviction — that the highest forms of human creative expression, music, fashion, art, food, deserve to inhabit the same room. HIFILORD was built on exactly this belief: that sound is not a product but an experience, and that an experience only truly lives when it is felt in full. The HIFILORD × Prêt À Port evening was, in the most precise sense of the word, a masterclass in that belief. It will not be the last.
